Ward is born April 15th, 1977 in MonroeLouisiana. Monroe Christian School is a exclusively Christian private school. She was a student at Ouachita High School to pursue the second semester of her studies. However, she moved from there to River Oaks High School after the school year ended. A short time after her graduation, she attended Northeast Louisiana University. When she was thirteen years old Ward began modeling, leaving the school and relocating from Louisiana to New York in order to do so. She decided to pursue acting in the following years. She first appeared on screen in 1970. an uncredited part in the soap opera All My Children and was later cast in the short-lived NBC premier-time teen-drama Malibu Shores.
